Recommend several high-protein low-fat foods

   1. Egg whites

   egg whites (removing the protein portion of egg yolk) are one of the most recommended high-protein low-fat foods. 2 egg whites can provide 8g of the highest quality protein and about 0.1g of fat. The protein has high nutritional value, is easy to process and digest. It is rare for adults to tolerate egg whites (allergies).

   2. Skimmed milk powder

   Skimmed milk powder is the best food to supplement protein. 2 sachets (30g) of skimmed milk powder provide 10g of protein and about 0.5g of fat. It is also rich in potassium, magnesium, zinc and calcium. Easy to digest.

  Skimmed milk powder contains lactose, and many adults do not tolerate lactose. Gastrointestinal symptoms may occur or worsen. At this time, low-fat yogurt or low-lactose milk can be used instead.

  3. Shrimp

  Most fish and seafood have the characteristics of high protein and low fat. Shrimp is one of the most representative. 100g shrimp contains 16.8g protein and 0.6g fat. 100g shrimp contains 18.6g protein and only 0.8g fat.

Except for a few people with allergies, most adults, even in a disease state, are well tolerated by shrimp or seafood. There are many rumors that fish and shrimp are fasting, unfounded and untrustworthy.

   4. Whey protein powder

   Whey protein powder is albumin extracted from milk (casein is removed). 1 scoop (10g) contains 7.5g protein and 0.7g fat.

  Most adults are well tolerated, but occasionally have allergies. The disadvantage is that the taste is very bad when used alone, and it can be seasoned or mixed into other foods.

When selecting specific products, pay attention to purity. Some whey powders contain only about 30% whey protein, which is not in my recommended range.

  The most typical high-protein, low-fat foods are egg whites and skimmed milk (or low-fat milk). Eggs and milk are high-protein and high-fat foods.

  Most fish and seafood are high-protein, low-fat foods.

  Pork, beef, chicken and other common meats are usually high-protein and high-fat foods, but a few varieties are high-protein and low-fat foods.

  Soybean products are high-protein foods with moderate fat content.

  Sea cucumber is not a good source of high-quality protein.

   Cereals are not a good source of high-quality protein.

  Vegetables and fruits are not a good source of protein.

  Bone soup, oxtail soup, chicken soup, turtle soup, etc. are not good sources of protein. And contains more fat.
