Let's talk about coffee

BY Carol Carey 2020-05-21

  Coffee is not a poison

After I wrote "Coffee and College Entrance Examination", "Jixing Health" wrote a targeted critical article on the blog "Teaching candidates to drink coffee is a faint trick", There are several statements in this article that distort my original intention, and I will make the following explanation:

"Since even he himself is trapped by coffee, why do you recommend candidates to try drinking coffee before the test?" It is pure to measure the belly of a villain with the heart of a gentleman. First of all, I drink coffee, but I don’t feel “trapped by coffee”. In fact, I drink very comfortably, and there is no basis to say that drinking coffee (one or two cups a day) is harmful to health. I will continue to drink like many people. Go on, please don''t call coffee a poison. Secondly, I did not recommend that all candidates take coffee. In fact, I do not need to recommend it. As far as I know, many high school students drink coffee to refresh themselves. I just give some suggestions to those who drink coffee or want to drink coffee, and these suggestions have proved to be desirable in actual work. Candidates in my hospital colleague''s house have the habit of drinking coffee and accepted my guidance (the next year, she recommended her friend to come to me because her friend''s children also have to take the college entrance examination).

"While coffee excites the brain, it also impairs concentration to a certain extent, so it affects thinking ability". There is indeed such an argument, and I expressed similar concerns in the article, but there are also some studies showing that coffee does not affect the thinking ability. Does it affect the thinking in the end? Don’t listen to experts, let alone fake experts say, myself Just try and you will find out. Before the college entrance examination, find a chance to try and see whether it affects thinking or not, what''s wrong? I particularly hate the attitude of some experts that "the winner is in control, it is absolutely necessary", and there is no final conclusion, It must be said as truth, this is definitely a domineering vice. In fact, many issues (such as the pros and cons of drinking coffee) can be discussed, and can be different from person to person, don''t talk about it.

"Because drinking coffee can interfere with the biological rhythm that the examinee has formed, which in turn affects the normal performance of the examinee. Other health problems caused by regular drinking of coffee." First of all, as long as there is not too much coffee, there will be no health problems! There is no evidence that drinking 1 or 2 cups of coffee every day is harmful to health! The history of human drinking coffee has been very long, in general it is very Safe (of course not to lose control). It’s true that drinking coffee can interfere with sleep at first (don’t say it’s so mysterious? It’s also “biological rhythm”, it’s not just sleeping and waking up), so I only recommend candidates to be cautious in my blog post, try in advance, and don’t wait for the exam Genius hastily tried.

Therefore, my previous suggestion is responsible and proved to be desirable. Please don''t take the feather feathers as arrows!
