BY Berton Gladstone 2020-06-13

Each of us’ living habits is closely related to heart health. Some vegetables and fruits are directly related to our heart health.

Israel Greenstein, a professor at the Hebrew University of Israel, announced a result of his research: eating a 100-gram persimmon a day can effectively prevent arteriosclerosis, heart disease and stroke attacks. In the past, we did not pay much attention to the nutritional value of persimmons to the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular vessels. Eating more persimmons is beneficial to the cardiovascular system.

For the prevention of cardiovascular disease, persimmon is far more effective than apple, which is called the heart health fruit king. Persimmons have thousands of years of history in China, and Japan, South Korea, Brazil and other countries are now the main producers of persimmons. Israel later came to the fore, using wild persimmons and genetic engineering to cultivate new varieties of small persimmons that are fragrant, non-astringent, seedless, and storage-resistant.

Compared with apples, persimmons have twice the dietary fiber content of apples, and potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, iron, manganese and other minerals and antioxidants are also much higher than apples. Only copper and zinc are less than apples.

But comparing persimmon to apple at this time is because people are very familiar with the function of apple, to deepen people''s understanding of the nutritional value of persimmon.

Everyone knows to eat persimmons to protect cardiovascular health. Now that the persimmons are on the market, eat persimmons to protect our cardiovascular!
