  As the name implies, low sodium salt refers to table salt with relatively low sodium content, that is, potassium chloride and magnesium chloride are used to replace part of the sodium chloride table salt. The general sodium content is about 25% less than ordinary salt, but The salinity is basically the same as ordinary salt. We have done experiments to dilute the low-sodium salt and ordinary salt in the same concentration with water, and then let many people taste it. As a result, no one can accurately distinguish between low-sodium salt and ordinary salt. That is to say, the consumption of low-sodium salt cooking does not need to increase the amount, it can be used like ordinary salt, so it can ensure that the sodium intake is reduced.

  Reducing the intake of table salt (mainly sodium) is very important to prevent and treat high blood pressure. Eating salt is an important cause of hypertension. Low-salt diet is an important measure to treat high blood pressure. People with high blood pressure should eat less than 5 grams of salt per day. Dishes made from so little salt are simply unacceptable. Although the book suggests that you can use sugar or vinegar to improve the taste when eating a low-salt diet. When there is little salt, the taste of sweet and sour is not so "sweet and sour". No wonder there is a cloud: "Salt is the king of flavors." Therefore, in practice, most hypertensive patients fail to achieve a low-salt diet. If you switch to low-sodium salt, it will help to ensure the taste and reduce sodium intake to a certain extent (of course, low-sodium salt also has to control the amount).

   Therefore, whether it is a healthy person or a patient with high blood pressure, almost everyone or family should choose low sodium salt, which is very beneficial to prevent high blood pressure (and other health problems). By the way, I have been using low-sodium salt for several years.

   At present, in some large supermarkets with a complete range of products, there are usually a variety of common salt on the shelves of condiments, such as low sodium salt, selenium-fortified nutrient salt, zinc-fortified nutrient salt, iron-fortified health salt Wait. I think the most valuable one is the low-sodium salt. Other "pattern" salts have little meaning. The price of low-sodium salt is generally about twice as expensive as ordinary salt, which should be acceptable to most people.

  Salt is a national franchise substance, which is not allowed to be freely traded, which makes the salt companies in various regions that do not need competition have no incentive to promote low sodium salts, so that such good things as low sodium salts appear very early (It was already available in the mid to late 90s), but it hasn’t been popular for a long time, and it seems that it will continue to be buried for a longer time, which is really regrettable.
