Can eating cooked cabbage overnight cause cancer?

Male  34 years old 2018-07-02
When I grew up in the countryside, I am used to saving and frugality. Generally, overnight dishes will be eaten up the next day, but recently I heard that eating cooked cabbage overnight will cause cancer. Is this the case?

Avoid eating cooked cabbage overnight. Cabbage contains a large amount of nitrate, and it will be placed shortly after cooking. Due to the action of bacteria, nitrate will be reduced to nitrite, which may cause cancer after eating.
