Long-term smoking and drinking destroy the vitamins necessary to maintain good health. Smoking destroys vitamin C, a nutrient that can prevent cancer and heart disease. Smoking half a pack of cigarettes every day will destroy 25-100 mg of vitamin C in the body; drinking more than one cocktail a day and enjoying the fluttering price is to consume the vitamin B1, B6 and folic acid in the body, and the lack of vitamin B1 for alcoholics is also quite common.
