    Ancients said: Eating ginger at night is equivalent to eating arsenic. Its true meaning means "it is good to eat ginger in the morning and harmful to eat ginger at night." Ginger is spicy and warm, and contains volatile oil, gingerol and starch. It can enhance and accelerate blood circulation, stimulate gastric juice secretion, excite the stomach, promote digestion, and have antibacterial effects. Eating ginger in the morning helps the metabolism during the day; but eating it at night may affect sleep.
