    The calculation formula for how much water to drink in a day is as follows: Adults should add 35-40 ml of water per kilogram of body weight. In other words, people weighing 50 kg have to add 1750 to 2000 ml of water. This number also includes water obtained from foods such as soups, fruits (fruit food) and vegetables (vegetable food).
