Why can't you wrap food in a newspaper?

Female  36 years old 2018-06-30
I went to buy fritters today, and there were just a few new newspapers in the basket. I wrapped the fritters with the newspaper and took them back. When I got home, my wife kept complaining about me and saying that I couldn’t use newspaper to wrap food. Why?

Newspapers packed with food, which can cause poisoning if eaten. The ink contains a toxic substance called PCB, which has a chemical structure similar to pesticides. If food is wrapped in newspaper, it will seep on the food and then enter the body with the food. The storage of PCBs in the human body can cause poisoning when it reaches 0.5-2 grams. In the mild cases, the eyelids are red and swollen, the palms are sweating, and the body has red bumps; in the severe cases, nausea and vomiting, abnormal liver function, muscle aches, coughing, and even death.
