Is too much maternal taboo?

Male  28 years old 2018-06-29
After I gave birth to my baby, I couldn't eat a lot of things. I had to drink some porridge and chicken soup. Is that right?

In some places, there is too much emphasis on maternal taboos, such as avoiding fish, shrimp, mutton and beef, or not allowing rice, and only millet porridge. These are undesirable. In fact, maternal needs all kinds of nutrition after childbirth, the main and auxiliary food should be both and diversified, eating only one or two can not meet the needs of maternal, and is not conducive to the secretion of milk. Therefore, women should eat some fiber-rich vegetables and fruits while exercising properly and drinking more soup, which is beneficial to milk secretion and intestinal function.
