I recently saw on TV that sugar substitutes cause headaches. Is this true?

The sugar substitute "aspartame" can excessively stimulate or interfere with nerve endings, increase muscle tension, and cause migraine headaches. The low-sugar cola, low-sugar soda, sugar-free gum, and ice cream all contain aspartame. Therefore, people who are more sensitive to "sugar replacement" can cause headaches by sipping a small sip of low-sugar soda.
