Vegetables can be kept fresh and tender in the refrigerator, but if they are bought directly in the fruit and vegetable box, the water will evaporate, the surface will shrink, the leaves will wilt, accelerate the loss of vitamins, and the microorganisms on different types of vegetables will cross-contaminate. Fan Zhihong suggested that it is best to wrap each type of vegetable with two layers of soft paper, and then put them in separate plastic bags, with a loose tie. This can adjust the humidity in the bag, effectively slow down the drying and extend the shelf life.
