Infants under one year of age do not need to add extra salt. According to the 2016 "Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents", baby food supplements do not need to add any condiments, because the recommended sodium intake for infants is very small compared to adults, and its various organs such as kidneys and livers have not yet matured. Adding salt will increase the burden on the kidneys.
