Can gout patients eat honey?

Female  33 years old 2018-06-22
My wife went to the market and bought a bottle of fresh honey. The taste is not bad. I have a drink every day, but I have gout now. Can I drink it?

Although honey is good, there are many things to pay attention to when drinking. It should be reminded that people with gout and hyperuricemia should eat honey cautiously, because the fructose in them can cause the rise of blood uric acid and aggravate the patient's condition.
