    This vegetable has a lot of vitamins, and raw onions can pamper your muscles. It can fight against harmful free radicals produced by intensive training. Too much free radicals can cause muscle inflammation and loss of nutrients in muscles. When onions are ingested together with other nutrients that promote muscle growth, they increase muscle nutrient absorption.
