I often like to go out to eat barbecue in the middle of the night, and then get some beer and drink. What are the hazards of eating pickled and smoked food while drinking beer?

Drinking too much beer will increase the absolute amount of alcohol, which will increase the burden on the liver and directly damage the liver tissue. Taking beer with smoked food while drinking beer can cause carcinogen nitrosamine and its chemical components to enter the liver and damage liver cells.
