In general, it is recommended that patients with diabetes choose some fruits with relatively low GI, such as apples, pears, peaches, apricots, plums, cherries, grapes, mandarins, pomelo, etc. GI reflects the speed of digestion and absorption of sugar in food. Generally, the value below 55 is regarded as "low GI food".
