The calcium content in yoghurt is equal to or slightly higher than that of milk. It contains 118 mg of calcium per 100 ml of yoghurt (average). Yogurt contains more lactic acid, which has the effect of promoting calcium absorption. Therefore, the absorption rate of calcium in yogurt will be higher than that of milk. In this way, yogurt is a better calcium supplement food than milk.
