Are the proteins in plant foods useful?

Male  42 years old 2018-04-26
I like to eat vegetables and potatoes, but my husband said that the protein in these plant-based foods is useless. Is it reliable that he said?

Many women like to eat fruits, vegetables, and potatoes, but they still need to eat meat when they supplement protein during pregnancy. In comparison, plant foods such as grains, potatoes, vegetables, and fruits contain less protein, and their protein (amino acid) composition is far from the human body, and their nutritional value is low. It is not a good source of protein.
