People who often eat vegetables can prevent birth deformities, vegetables can provide rich folic acid. As the name suggests, folic acid is a rich vitamin in green leaves, and green leafy vegetables are the most important source of folic acid in the diet. Lack of folic acid will increase the risk of birth deformity, and will also lead to the increase of homocysteine (or homocysteine, Hcy) levels, and the increase in the index of middle-aged and elderly people also means an increased risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
