Why don't you stand while taking nitroglycerin?

I think someone said that the tongue should not stand when it contains nitroglycerin. What is the reason?

Sublingual nitroglycerin should take a sitting position, preferably sitting on a sofa, wicker chair or other large chairs. It is not advisable to lie down or stand with the medicine, because nitroglycerin has the effect of dilating blood vessels. When standing, it is prone to syncope due to insufficient blood supply to the heart and brain.
