Scallions are in the lungs, and Chinese onions are also called "lung dishes". "Compendium of Materia Medica" preached: Scallions are "raw and spicy, sweet and cooked, warm and solid, hollow in the outside, lungs are also dishes, and lung diseases should be eaten." So it is often used to fill the lungs and cough. The simplest simmering soup can be used to declare lung cold, why not do it?
