Every spring, when there is a high incidence of influenza and other diseases, the people use vinegar to disinfect, sterilize and prevent colds, but there is no scientific basis. There is acetic acid in the vinegar, which does have the effect of disinfection and sterilization at a certain concentration, but the effect is not very good. Even if the concentration is high, it is not recommended. The concentration of acetic acid in vinegar is very low, far from being able to disinfect.
