My grandfather doesn’t eat meat very much. He starts to eat fast after suffering from diabetes. Can people with diabetes really not eat meat?

Fatty meat, animal offal, and skin (chicken skin, duck skin, goose skin, pork skin, etc.) are not recommended for sugar friends due to high cholesterol content. Many sugar friends mistakenly believe that a diabetic diet is to "eat fast" and list meat as a taboo. In fact, this is very inappropriate. Meat food is rich in nutrients, including protein, trace elements, various vitamins, etc., is an indispensable part of our diet. All kinds of meat should be eaten alternately to ensure balanced nutrition.
