I often buy too much food or cook too much to eat. I will keep it in the refrigerator. How can I keep the leftover food in the refrigerator to be safe?

    Leftovers should be placed in the refrigerator within two hours of cooking, and raw and cooked food should be stored separately. Fresh food, especially meat, fish and seafood should be stored on the bottom of the refrigerator, and processed food on the top. All food should be stored in clean, non-toxic washable containers and tightly closed. Frozen meat and poultry and fish should not be stored again. The storage period of canned food such as fish and meat cannot exceed one year.
