Why can't you put MSG in vinegar dishes?

Today, my mother taught me to make vinegared cabbage. My mother said that the dishes with vinegar cannot contain MSG. Why can't the dishes with vinegar contain MSG?

The sour taste is obvious, and the dishes with more vinegar can not add MSG. Because MSG is not easy to dissolve in an acidic environment, and the more acidic, the lower the solubility, the worse the umami effect. Therefore, sour dishes such as sweet and sour tenderloin, vinegared cabbage, etc. should not be placed with MSG.
