Gout patients cannot drink alcohol. Patients with hyperuricemia are best not to drink; if you must drink alcohol, do not exceed the recommended intake, male friends do not exceed 25g of alcohol per day, female friends do not exceed 15g of alcohol per day. Among them, beer has the strongest correlation with the incidence of gout. Spirits can also increase the risk of gout, and drinking red wine in moderation does not increase the incidence of gout. Alcohol can inhibit the excretion of uric acid in the body. Excessive drinking can increase blood uric acid and induce gout attacks.
