If it is not treated, there will be serious symptoms, and some patients will suffer from long-term lesions, causing the atrophy of the "big fish" muscle under the thumb; even intermittent whitening and cyanosis may occur; in severe cases, cyanosis of the thumb and index finger may occur. Fingertip necrosis or atrophic ulcers become irreversible changes.
