My dad is a diabetic and now he takes insulin every day. Should I control the carbohydrates he eats every day?

Previously, people thought that the cause of non-insulin-dependent diabetes was greatly related to refined sugar intake; recent studies have shown that sugar may not be an important factor for diabetes induction. Based on this, sugar, especially sucrose, is no longer a dietary ban for diabetics. However, refined sugar will greatly increase the body's blood sugar faster than other sugars. Diabetic patients can have an appropriate amount of sucrose in a meal, but it cannot replace indigestible sugars such as dietary fiber. Because it has a protective effect on non-dependent diabetes.
