What are the side effects of weight loss pills?

Male  42 years old 2018-06-08
My weight only increased, but my friend recommended several weight loss pills, saying it worked well. Are there any side effects of weight loss pills?

Weight loss pills definitely have side effects. Commonly used appetite suppressants can cause mild insomnia, dry mouth, dizziness, depression, fatigue, constipation, nausea, etc.; some may cause high blood pressure and tachycardia; others may cause drug-induced liver damage. Drugs that reduce intestinal fat absorption may cause side effects such as diarrhea and malabsorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Laxatives can cause dehydration of the body and, in severe cases, electrolyte disturbances.
