Will adding brown sugar to soy milk cause no nutrition absorption?

Mother sometimes adds brown sugar to soy milk. I heard that this will cause nutrient absorption, is it true?

    Brown sugar cannot be added to soy milk. There are many kinds of organic acids in brown sugar. They combine with the protease in soy milk, which easily denatures and precipitates the protein and is not easily absorbed by the human body. White sugar will not have this phenomenon.
