    Banana contains more dietary fiber and carotene than potatoes. Potatoes contain more vitamin C and potassium than bananas, but this is only a superficial phenomenon. Bananas are eaten more raw and contain almost no damage to the nutrients; potatoes are eaten after being heated, and the water-soluble ingredients such as vitamin C and potassium are destroyed or lost during cooking. Therefore, in terms of the actual intake of vitamin C and potassium, the difference between eating raw bananas and eating cooked potatoes may not be large.
