Can't I eat egg yolk when eating eggs?

Female  21 years old 2018-05-02
My friends all say that egg yolk contains much cholesterol, so when eating eggs, always eat egg whites and discard the egg yolks. May I ask if the egg yolks can really be eaten?

It’s okay to eat some egg yolk properly, as long as you don’t eat too much. Because egg yolk is a treasure trove of nutrition, it is rich in high-quality protein, monounsaturated fatty acids (oleic acid), lecithin, vitamin A, vitamin B1, and vitamin B2. It also contains nutrients such as calcium, iron, and zinc, and its overall nutrition It is far more valuable than egg white and is the essence of egg nutrition. Egg yolk contains more cholesterol. The cholesterol content of an egg yolk is more than 280 milligrams, but it is not enough.
