What is the difference between pectin and lignin?

Female  34 years old 2018-04-19
I heard a lot of pectin and lignin in fruits during the previous period, but I am not very familiar with these two substances. Are they the same nutrients?

Pectin and lignin are both dietary fiber, which can open the body, provide good nutrition, and help intestinal peristalsis, but there are differences between them. The difference is that pectin is a water-soluble dietary fiber, and Lignin is an insoluble dietary fiber.
